The 2nd Africa-India Economic Mission programme consisted of fostering partnerships between Africa and India in the sectors of:

Agricultural Research,
- Soil and Water Conservation and Management,
- Biofuels,
- Fresh Produce Management,
- Knowledge Parks,
- Seed Value Chain and
- Agri Equipment
and Machinery,
- Agroprocessing.
With the objective of learning from the rich experience of India, the programme included field
visits to various sites and discussions with the heads of companies and key
decision makers:
- Kothapally Watershed Project
- Sam Agritech Limited
- ICICI Knowledge Park and Alexandria
- Vibha Multicrop Processing Centre
- Community Watershed Development
