About
Israel is facing harsh climatic conditions and has been able to develop particularly well-adapted technologies in the fields of agriculture, agro-industry, livestock and irrigation. By joining the mission, African entrepreneurs working in the agribusiness sector will have the opportunity to visit Israeli companies using cutting-edge technology to increase production (water irrigation systems, improved seeds, postharvest treatment, greenhouse technology…). This activity also aims to help entrepreneurs to expand their international network and discover new business opportunities.
The Africa-Israel Agricultural Trade Mission (28 - 31 May 2017) is organised by EMRC, in collaboration with Israel Export & International Cooperation Institute, Profit Agro, Hazera, Rivulis and other companies and project developers. MASHAV (Israel's Agency for International Development Cooperation in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs), MATC (Mashav Agricultural Training Center) and CINADCO (Center for International Agricultural Development Cooperation) will officially welcome the participants.
